I got to be honest: I actually wanted to see how well this thing actually worked so I actually went into sports authority and brought it. I come home and try it for the first week. Now believe this or not but I actually see a change in my arms as they were bigger and slightly toned. I will say that it DOES force your muscles to in large but as for strength, you actually have to do lifts. So appearance wise, a yes but actual strength, use your enlarged muscles. That's all I can say. Cheers.

Of course 6 minutes of the Shake Weight is equal to 42 minutes of "similar weight dumbbells". (read the fine print @ 0:55) The Shake Weight weighs no more than 5 lbs. So of course, if you were only lifting 5 lbs, it would take forever to burn any sort of calories. My friend bought this for me as a joke gift. I wish he hadn't. It's a piece of shit and I can't get rid of it, and it's just a waste to throw it out... What a waste of materials and time... this thing is a piece of shit!
