@buildingbodies LOL no no, i wasn't trying to be negative. I was just giving you some advice since you posted this online and are making money, or attempting to, off of this. Mountain climbers, done properly, are brutal. You are just running on the spot.

@LardInATubeSock That is not a burpee, though very similar, this movement is called a squat thruster (no push-up). But yes, a mountain climber should also contain a much more exaggerated lunge movement. I would call both of those movements in this video good beginner versions, but for more advanced people, you would want larger range of motion.

@mrvolax BMI is a grea tool. The reason people slag it so much is because they simply do not understand its use as an index. Further, it is an index for the general population (adults) NOT athletes. It is highly accurate in the context it is to be used in. It was a medical tool, not a sport training assessment tool. Most people don't know what they are talking about.

LOL thanks for sharing, but the mountain climbers you showed aren't mountain climbers. For mountain climbers you are 'switiching' your legs forward, no simply 'running' on the spot. For the burpees, I do the ones you demonstrated, however, the full burpee incorporates a pushup element into to.

BMI is a sack of shit. the best reason for a personal trainer to use things like BMI, waste to hip, calipers etc is to impress clients who have no idea how inaccurate they can be :) only an elite athlete would need to know their exact BF% and they would have access to a water tank system (genuine accuracy).
i know i good way of telling if some one is over weight or in great condition.. OPEN YOUR EYES :)
